Field Day

                                                              FIELD DAY

Field Day is an annual whole school event. Students are assigned teams which include children from each grade level, K-4. Each team will participate at twelve activity stations. Water is the common theme at most of the Field Day stations; Sponge Throw, Water Plunger Relay, Belly Bumper Water Relay, Ping Pong Ball Water Game, Squirt Bottles and Blindfolds, Water Ball Launchers, etc. Non-water stations include Scooter Relays, Cage Ball Relay, Rope Elements, Bounce House, etc.
Parent volunteers work with the staff at each activity station, distribute water to the students (give them drinks and or squirt water on their heads to cool them off), and replenish water at the stations.

The entire school participates at the activity stations from 9:05 - 12:30. Then we break for lunch and free play and spend the afternoon watching a movie and having popsicles.
