WATER SLIDE
The Water Slides are two long sheets of plastic on a hill with water running on top. Add soapy water and children slide down the hill in the refreshing cool water.
One of the water slides has a ramp built with two tables and a mat on top to create a slide at the starting point. Students may go individually, with a partner or group of three. they may select to go on a tube or on their belly or bottom.
The second slide is on the ground and students can choose to run and dive into the water, make trains with other students or get a ride from the adults; sit and be pushed or swing in the air and "fly" down the water slide.
The water is provided by the Mansfield Fire Department; without their assistance this fun event would not be possible.
Parents are invited to watch the action, help supervise the children or join the fun with their child.
